Casual Mommy Meeting Outfit

There are things that you never think you'll end up doing. Not that you specifically mean not to do them. They just simply never cross your mind.
Like going to a Moms and Babies meeting. A friend told me about a local meeting for breastfeeding moms and babies and I've started going. Its nice to be around other people who are going through/doing the same things as you. Plus there are some awfully cute babies out there!

This is what I wore to our Friday meeting.
I don't usually wear T-shirts, especially not when going places. But this one is fun and perfect for a mom and babies meeting. So I decided to try styling a T-shirt to look cute and put together, but still casual.
I think adding accessories is probably the key to making a T-shirt look nicer.

 My Baby Eats Local. :)

They say V neck T-shirts are perfect for nursing in, but for us more "endowed" Ladies, that doesn't seem to be the case. So I just went with my normal pull the shirt up method.

A Casual Wednesday

As a breastfeeding mama, every outfit I put on has to be nursing friendly. And honestly, pretty much every specifically nursing top I've seen just wasn't very stylish, and definitely not my style. And me....Well, everything I wear has to have some fashion to it. Unless I'm pregnant and freezing cold, in which case I'll probably be in yoga pants and a blanket. But that's a different story.
I thought this was going to make finding stylish clothing even harder, until I found these super cheap spaghetti strap tanks at Walmart that are perfect for nursing. Just put one on and put a normal shirt over it. When you need to feed the baby, pull top shirt up and tank top down, because these tank's straps are stretchy enough to pull down. I love this option because it shows minimal skin. And I can wear most of my shirts. Win!

Anyway, my casual Wednesday outfit was as simple as afore mentioned easy layers and skinny jeans. But, the unique part of it was the blue and pink I paired together. You can see my pink statement necklace, and though they aren't very visible in the picture, I was wearing pink dangle earings.

When I was little....very little, as in, 6-8, I use to love to put pink and blue together. But it isn't often I do that now. It definitely gave the outfit a girly touch.

And my aviator style glasses are a must for a sunny day.

My favorite part of the outfit? The back of my shirt. I just love the little bows!

And of course, my cutest little accessory, the little monkey boy hanging at my side. :)
